About the Author

Hey, my name’s Ben. I created Badass of the Week in 2004 and have since written nearly a thousand badass articles and fourteen books on various historical subjects, including the Badass, Guts & Glory, and Epic Fails series, all of which you can find over at the store. I’ve also got a YouTube page, an IMDb Page, and I like that I appear on the Wikipedia Ben Thompson disambiguation page alongside the gunfighter, that Count Rumford guy, and a dozen Aussie rules football players for some reason. Oh, and one time a local newspaper called me Seattle’s Sexiest Dungeon Master, but that was back when my hairline was better so who knows anymore.

I’m always up for doing appearances, talking at schools, taking on freelance work, and licensing my content, so if you want to contact me about any of that please feel free to email me here.
